Early on in development of Medal of Honor I produced these front-end screens for the multi-player section. In all they comprised of several screens covering win/lose conditions from the tug-of-war game mode. At this point in the titles development the visual style had not completely emerged so the focus was to make them as presentable and as functionally complete as possible given that the product was just coming out of pre-production. |

I put together all the screens using 3DS Max 6 and Photoshop CS. The guns are actually very low-polygon geometry mapped with large scale textures of real pistols which enabled me to position them where and how I needed, and also so that they would work at any resolution and with correct lighting. As the screens were very static in nature I could cut them up as textures to be rendered in-game very easily. |
