While in between projects after completing Alias I created this image as rough concept of an FPS action game set on a desolate and barren world. |
Since at this point many games were starting to take advantage of widescreen display modes I thought that it might be nice to try and experiment using the extra screen space it provided in an FPS context. There is plenty of room for scope in this area for things such as simulating peripheral vision, anamorphic squeeze and so on. |
